According to the Spanish police, the collision happened at 7:45 pm on Sunday. A high-speed train jumped to the opposite rail and slammed into an oncoming train. This crash happened in Adamuz, which is 243 miles out of Madrid, Spain. The train was carrying 300 passengers. When the train crashed the Spanish police said that 159 people were injured. Five of the people who were injured were injured severely. Over three dozen people were killed. The police say that they might find more bodies throughout the day. The Spanish transport minister, Oscar Puente, said that this incident was really strange. The Spanish police are still cleaning up the mess and making sure everybody is safe.
