Alaskans Voting on Minimum Wage

Alaska citizens will be able to vote and raise the minimum wage up to 15 dollars an hour by the year 2027, and get paid up to 7 days while they are sick. “Fair wages and benefits make our communities, economy and state stronger.” But opponents in small businesses warn that if such a measure was passed it would bring dire consequences. The current minimum wage right now is 11.73 an hour but they plan on bringing it up to 15.
