On a Russian talk show the TV host jokes about conquering Alaska stating that it’s just Ice Crimea, adding that Alaska should return to its native shores. It’s honestly a perplexing remark, and people are not sure what he meant by that. It’s a weird time to bring this up, considering the ongoing war in Ukraine which itself also used to be a part of the Soviet Union. Vladimir Putin has shown intense interest in reclaiming all land that used to belong to the USSR.
