A lady named Karin and her 15 year old daughter found obsidian in the sand dunes 35 miles west of Huslia, Alaska. She had made many visits to the sand, but hadn’t found anything, except this time she found obsidian flakes buried in the sand. After a while of only finding flakes of obsidian they were about to give up, but then one of the archaeologists accidentally kicked an obsidian finished tool.
